The Jimmy John’s 2010 Black team has had great success at Big Bear Tournaments this season. This past weekend the team made it to the championship for the third time this year.

The weekend started on Friday night with a strong win against the Joliet Jaguars. Saturday morning Jimmy John’s lost a close battle against Cheboygan CNB, but quickly rebounded with another win against the Miami Jr. Red Hawks. This set up a rematch in the finals vs. Cheboygan CNB. Jimmy John’s fell behind 3-0 and never stopped battling, closing the gap to 4-3 in the third period. With a 1:30 left Jimmy John’s pulled the goalie but were unable to tie the game.

Jimmy John’s Black finished the season with one tournament victory and two second place finishes.
