Roman played professionally and on Czech National Teams (U-18 JWC bronze, U-20 JWC silver medal). He also trained many NHL European players and helped them to transition to play and live in North America.(Petr Sykora, Patrick Elias,Martin Straka, Stan Neckar, Miro Satan, Tomas Tatar and many others NHL/AHL/CHL players).
Jan Cekal
Coach/Goalie Coach
Jan was born and raised in the Czech Republic. He played semi-professional hockey for 9 years and has 10 years of coaching experience. Jan has been our Goalie Coach for 5 years and has experience running clinics/camps in Czech republic with Petr Mrazek.
Michael Konopka
Coach
Born and raised in the Czech Republic, Michael played for a top-ranked team, Sparta, for 7 years. He then played for HC Kobra from 2010-2013 and VHK Vsetin from 2013-2017. He has 10 years of experience running camps in Europe and USA. Michael is passionate about coaching youth hockey.
Jana Andrys
Athletic Trainer
Jana was born and raised in the Czech Republic. Jana has a Master’s degree in Athletic Training and provides structured off ice training for teams on a regular basis. She has worked for agent Petr Svoboda and with his NHL clients (Jakub Voracek, Ondrej Palat, Petr Mrazek, Jiri Hudler and many others) in their off-season training. She also trains top level athletes in track & field, soccer and tennis.
Jana was a national and international level competitor in track and field. She was a member of the Czechoslovakian national team and earned many national championships medals in junior, senior and international categories. At age19 she became the champion of Czechoslovakia in the women's 400 meter sprint and European Cup final member and finalist.
Petra Knoche

Petra (Pànkovà) Knoche was born and raised in the Czech Republic during a period of restrictive communist rule. She left her hometown of Prague to pursue a college degree and make a positive impact in international relations. She started her degree pursuit at Genesee Community College, located in Batavia, New York, where she was a standout basketball player earning Region III Player of the Year in the 1996-1997 season. Petra was inducted into the Genesee Community College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017. She accepted a basketball scholarship to Cleveland State University where she starred and earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in Communication. She is currently an adviser for the International Students and Scholars Office at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.
